my idol

Erki Nool is probably the most famous sports man and an idol for many young people.
Erki Nool was born in Võru (which is a small town in south of Estonia) on 25 June 1970. He was Estonia's best athlete in the years 1996-1998, and again in 2000. He was the European Indoor heptathlon champion in 1996. In 1998 Erki Nool became the European Champion and the winner of the Grand Prix. He has won several medals at the World Indoor Championship and at the European Championship. Nool placed sixth at the Atlanta Olympic Games. He is the Estonian record holder in the decathlon, the 200m, and the long jump. In 2000, Erki Nool was the decathlon gold medallist at the Summer Olympics in Sydney. At the World Outdoor Championship in Edmonton, in 2001, Nool won the silver medal.
In 1997, Estonian sports enthusiasts founded the Erki Nool fan club. The Estonians’ love and respect for their world class athlete can also be seen from the fact that during the Olympic Games in Sydney, many schools did not have classes on the days when Erki Nool competed.
At the moment Erki Nool has become a coach. He is also a very active member of the society-since yesterday he is a member of our parliament. He is a member of a political party, which belongs to the right. I hope he will support building sport halls and sport generally.

My idol- Eda Ines Etti

My idol

Eda-Ines Etti (born 26 May 1981 in Haapsalu) is a singer and celebrity in Estonia, also known to a wider international audience for her association, in various forms, with her country's enthusiastic participation in the Eurovision Song Contest.
In 2000, under her abbreviated stage name Ines, she was Estonia's representative for the contest in Sweden. Her song "Once In A Lifetime" had been tipped for what would have been a famous victory, but in the end came fourth.
Eda-Ines Etti entered Eurolaul in 2006 with the song "Iseendale", which came a close second to the winner "Through My Window".
Ines and Koit Toome are the sexiest.
In 2004 for the eight time “Kroonika” (popular yellow magazine) readers choose from Estonian famous people the sexiest men and women. They were young singers Koit Toome and Eda Ines. This party was shown on TV. Many young people watched this.
She helps at charity; she has worked with the foundation of children’s hospital in Tallinn.
I personally think that she is a very good singer and extremely beautiful woman. And I can easily understand the young girls whose idol she is.
